German biodiesel plant goes up in flames

In Germany, a biodiesel production plant located in Südlohn-Oeding and owned by Petrotec broke out in flames but was quickly extinguished by local firefighters. The company predicts that production may be reduced by for up to six weeks by approximately five percent but will likely not impact the company’s recently published second-quarter report.
