EC Vice President presents EuropaBio award to Global Bioenergies

In France, European Commission Vice President Antonio Tajani Evry, Commissioner for Industry & Entrepreneurship awarded Global Bioenergies “most innovative European biotech SME” EuropaBio award. The winner of the award was announced at the European Parliament. The award itself is bestowed by EuropaBio, an representing more than 1800 European companies. Global Bioenergies is the only company in Europe, that is developing a process to convert renewable resources into hydrocarbons through fermentation. The Company initially focused its efforts on the production of isobutene, one of the most important petrochemical building blocks that can be converted into fuels, plastics, organic glass and elastomers.
