Biofuels Digest Index drops to 64.51 as advanced biofuels, large caps sink

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was dropped 0.89 percent to 64.51 as advanced biofuels and large caps sank.  For the day, Amyris (AMRS) lost 4.61 percent to $2.90, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) plunged another 7.53 percent to $5.16 after a change in earnings guidance.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) shed 2.09 percent to $10.30. Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
