Assunto Importante upgrades Portuguese biodiesel plant for 2nd generation feedstocks

In Portugal, Assunto Importante has completed upgrades on its biodiesel plant in Sines in order to increase feedstock flexibility and improve biofuel production quality to satisfy stringent quality standards. The company will now be able to produce biodiesel from second generation feedstocks, including animal fat and used cooking oil, at an annual capacity of 25,000 tons.
