Soy Energy mothballs Iowa biodiesel plant
In Iowa, Soy Energy will temporarily shut down its 30 million gallon per year biodiesel facility in Mason City due to tough market conditions and the expiry of the biodiesel blenders tax credit. The company has had to layoff a number of employees as a result of the shut down.
