A million tons of DDGs to support domestic feed market

In the UK, a million metric tons of DDGs are getting ready to hit the domestic market thanks to two major wheat-based ethanol plants, the Ensus plant in Teeside that is already online and the Vivergo plant in Hull that will come online in the next few months. The injection of animal feed in the market will help to significantly reduce the demand for soybean meal and other protein imports.
