City to auction Appomattox Bio Energy Plant in early 2013

In Virginia, Appomattox Bio Energy Plant may soon be up for auction by the City of Hopewell in an effort to recuperate the more than $1.6 million it is owned in past tax revenue.

The city council approved the auction plan and there are expectations that the auction could take place as soon as January or February.
