Cargill mothballs German biodiesel plant on low demand

In Germany, Cargill has closed its Agravis Raiffeisen JV 120,000 metric ton per year biodiesel plant in Wittenberge due to over-capacity. The companies are currently in discussions with potential buyers for the facility that was opened in 2000.
