New slaughterhouse expected to boost South Dakota DDGs demand

In South Dakota, the local ethanol industry is about to get a big boost with the opening of the region’s first new large-scale cattle slaughterhouse that is expected to quickly grow demand for DDGs. With the arrival of the new facility that has been five years in the making, the local beef industry is expected to increase and will take more DDGs along with it.
