Syntroleum losses narrow as Dynamic Fuels production up 80 percent

In Oklahoma, Syntroleum reported operating income, for the first nine month in 2012, of $10.0 million resulting from total revenues of $16.4 million and operating expenses of $6.4 million. For the nine months ended June 30, 2012, they reported a loss from Dynamic Fuels of $5.7 million, compared to a loss of $12.3 million for the nine months ended June 30, 2011. During the nine months ended June 30, 2012 the plant produced 26.5 million gallons of renewable fuels compared to production of 14.0 million gallons during the nine months ended June 30, 2011. Syntroleum’s net loss was $1.0 million or $0.01 per share for the three months ended September 30, 2012 and net income of $4 million or $0.04 per share for the nine months ended September 30, 2012, compared with net losses of $4.6 million or $0.05 per share and $14.0 million or $0.16 per share for the corresponding periods in 2011.
