Aloha Petroleum awarded $17.6M military contract for biofuels, gasoline

In Hawaii, Aloha Petroleum has been awarded a three-year, $17.6m military contract from the US Defense Logistics Agency for gasoline, diesel, and alternative fuels. The company has been providing fuel for military bases in Oahu for 10 years, and President and CEO Richard Parry emphasized this long history in a statement he made on Friday: “We’ve had a long relationship with the military, and have been contracted over the years as a fuel source for everything from tactical vehicles to personal vehicles.”
