Final rule from USDA on new biobased product categories
In Washington, the USDA is amending the Guidelines for Designating Biobased Products for Federal Procurement, to add 12 sections: agricultural spray adjuvants , animal cleaning products, deodorants, dethatcher products, fuel conditioners, leather, vinyl, and rubber care products, lotions and moisturizers, shaving products, specialty precision cleaners and solvents, sun care products, wastewater systems coatings, and water clarifying agents. This is a final rule, becoming effective December 19, 2012.
