Shell Australia opens biodiesel facility in Sydney

| November 23, 2012

In Australia, Shell Australia has opened a biodiesel facility at its Parramatta Terminal in western Sydney, hoping to be the first company to sell B20 on Sydney’s market. According to a recent survey of commercial customers, more than 50% indicated the tax incentive and the environmental benefits of using B20 would encourage them to use the fuel in their fleets. Shell plans to expand its B20 availability further as it continues to work with its customers to offer fuels and lubricants solutions that help them reduce their CO2 footprint.
