Biofuels Digest Index advances to 60.68 as ethanol gains

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.65 percent to 60.68 as ethanol stocks advanced.  For the day, Ceres (CERE) dropped 4.90 percent to $3.49, while Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) fell 6.45 percent to $0.29. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) surged 5.26 percent to $1.60. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
