Maple Energy to produce 11.5 million gallons of ethanol by year’s end

In Peru, Maple Energy has crushed 468,000 metric tons of sugarcane for its ethanol distillery as of mid-November. It began start up in March 2012 and expects to have produced 11.5 million gallons of ethanol by year’s end. About 20% of the production is for the local market while the rest is exported by Mitsui & Co.
