Biofuels Digest Index slips to 61.92 as US manufacturing data disappoints

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.55 percent to 61.92 as Wall Street slid on weak US manufacturing data. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) jumped 5.30 percent to $2.98, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) jumped 5.41 percent to $6.24. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) retreated 3.49 percent to $7.20. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
