Brazil’s CTC to build $38.5 million cellulosic ethanol demo add-on plant
In Brazil, the Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira is set to invest $38.5 million in a 3 million liter per year cellulosic ethanol plant that will be co-located at a sugarcane mill in Sao Manuel next year. CTC says that mills who add on their technology will be able to produce an extra 30% to 50% ethanol annually.
