Japanese company signs MOU with Cambodia for cassava ethanol

In Cambodia, Idemitsu Kosan has signed an MOU with the government to promote the production of ethanol from cassava. The company hopes to sell 200,000 kiloliters of ethanol annually by the 2020s, and has set up an office of four in the capital to help move the project forward.
