Canada’s Amaizeingly Green goes into receivership

In Canada, Amaizeingly Green—formerly Collingwood Ethanol—has gone into receivership after not operating during the last several months due to the high price of corn. The plant’s fertilizer business, which remains profitable, and pet food production will continue for the time being with just 21 employees remaining. A total of 48 employees have been laid off since July when ethanol production stopped.
