Indian food ministry sees lower sugarcane crush cutting ethanol production
In India, lower sugar production has led to lower molasses production and therefore the expectation of lower ethanol production during the sugarcane crush that started in October. The food ministry sees 2012/13 sugar production at 2.6 billion liters, down 16% on the year.
