Most of UK’s cereal crops RED compliant

In the UK, the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board says that 97% of the country’s canola, 84% of its wheat and all of its sugarbeet meet the sustainability criteria under the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive. Crops that don’t meet the RED criteria by April 1 could be priced at a discount to those who do comply.
