Biofuels Digest Index reaches 8-week high as Christmas rally continues

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, continued its Christmas rally, moving up 1.02 percent to a new eight-week high of 64.11. For the day,Novozymes (NZMB) gained 1.71 percent to $28.48, while KiOR (KIOR) soared 10.49 percent to $6.74. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dumped 7.72 percent to $5.74. Overall, advances led declines 5 to 4 for the day.
