Ethanol exports only double imports in October

In Washington, the US Census Bureau says ethanol exports through October only reached 643.3 million gallons while imports were at 390 million gallons. This follows last year’s full-year record of 1.19 billion gallons, with estimates that that figure will not even reach 800 million gallons for this year. August and September imports were well above exports, but the country is likely to remain a next exporter just the same.
