Thai company to invest $26.8 million in Myanmar palm oil plant

In Myanmar, Thai company Universal Adsorbents & Chemicals plans to invest $26.8 million in a palm oil biodiesel plant on Myanmar’s Song island near Thailand’s Ranong province that will supply electricity to both countries. The plant is expected to come online in 2014.
