UAC announces $25M palm biofuels project in Myanmar
In Myanmar, Universal Adsorbents & Chemicals has announced a $25M investment in a palm oil-based biofuels project on Song Island, oppositeThailand’s Ranong Province. UAC CEO Kitti Jivacate said the company will open the new project, with an unannounced capacity, in 2014, adding that up to 20 percent of the equity will be owned by a local Burmese partners.
