BD-2012-AwardsIt’s been all over QVC this season, refreshingly touted less as a project about renewable resources and more about rejuvenating the skin, and promoting beauty. It’s got most of what it needs to be a monster – just lacks a celebrity endorsement or two.

In January Solazyme the addition of the Firming & Lifting skincare line the Algenist line-up, which launched in March 2011 at Sephora stores and on QVC. and leading global multimedia retailer QVC to launch Algenist, Solazyme’s microalgae-based prestige anti-aging skincare line, in the U.S. and internationally. Initially, Algenist was available on QVC in the U.S. and in over 800 Sephora stores, but now has expanded to over 1,100 retail locations worldwide, including Sephora US, EMEA, and Canada.
