Ukraine embraces biofuel production thanks to German investment

In Ukraine, Germany plans to assist the country to build its own biofuel production in 2013 by investing in pilot projects. German technology and equipment would help Ukraine to produce thermal power and biogas from the country’s considerable quantities of agricultural waste. Currently, Ukraine has approximately 30 pilot project proposals, including a bio-energy village.
