Nebraska Corn Processing pays fine for violating DEQ permit

In Nebraska, Nebraska Corn Processing has agreed to pay a $12,000 fine for violating its Department of Environmental Quality permit when it exceeded the volatile organic compound emissions allowed in its permit.  It also agreed to pay another $12,000 for voluntary supplemental environmental projects.
