Vietnamese ethanol plant goes bankrupt

In Vietnam, the Dong Xanh ethanol plant, which opened in September 2009, has gone bankrupt. The plant produced 100,000 tons of biofuel per year at full capacity, but only produced 12,000 in 2010. The company owes approximately $32m to various banks.
