Indiana rail yard boosts ethanol transport capacity

In Indiana, Hammond’s Gibson Yard is expanding its ethanol rail service thanks to pipeline operator Buckeye Partners re-starting operations in the yard, with four new sets of tracks and new tanks for transferring ethanol to and from rail cars. At first it one weekly 110-car train will pass through and then will eventually ramp up to three trains per week.
