Clean Burn Fuels co-founder killed in private plane crash

In North Carolina, the co-founder of the Hoke County ethanol plant in Raeford, Greg Carlisle, was killed when the plane he piloted crashed in Croatan Sound. He and his father developed and managed the $100 million Clean Burn Fuels ethanol plant, which was frozen after nine months of production due to high corn prices.
