Biox to resume biodiesel production as RFS2 demand increases
In Canada, Biox will resume production at its biodiesel facility in Hamilton, ON after suspending production in October because of lack of demand. The company says that the RFS2’s 28% increase in demand for renewable diesel in 2013 to 1.28 billion gallons plus the reinstatement of the biodiesel blending credit mean that market conditions are yet again ripe for production.
