Philippines may risk ethanol shortage by mid-February

In the Philippines, despite an E10 blending mandate, the department of energy has warned that there might be an ethanol supply deficit as soon as mid-February. Only 20% of local demand is supplied by local production, while the rest is supplied from imports. The DOE is looking into the possibility of suspending the E10 policy if there is indeed a true shortage.
