EU ethanol trades at gasoline discount providing incentive for blenders

In the Netherlands, Platts is reporting that European fuel ethanol in spot barges in the Port of Rotterdam traded at a 0.3% discount to gasoline last Friday for the first time since Sept. 27 due to surging oil futures. The discount provides a fiscal incentive to oil companies to blend higher levels of ethanol.
