Biofuels Digest reaches 9-month high of 71.74 as bio’s bulls run

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rose 0.60 percent to a new 9-month high of 71.74 as the BDI bulls continue to run. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) dropped 5.21 percent to $5.82, while Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 2.35percent to $9.15. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) dropped another 3.13 percent to $3.41 after a technical downgrade from Raymond James related to the stock’s quick rise in recent months. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 3 for the day.
