US ethanol production rises 15,000 barrels per day

In Washington, the US Energy Information Administration reported that ethanol production averaged 789,000 barrels per day — or 33.14 million gallons daily. That is up 15,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 781,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 11.97 billion gallons. In addition, producers were using 11.963 million bushels of corn to produce ethanol and 88,055 metric tons of livestock feed, 78,502 metric tons of which were distillers grains. Also, ethanol producers were providing 4.11 million pounds of corn oil daily.
