Biofuels Digest Index hits new 9-month high of 71.90 as rally continues

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rose 0.22 percent to a new 9-month high of 71.90 as ethanol advanced sharply. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) soared 16.28 percent to $5.50, while Gevo (GEVO) retreated 2.32 percent to $2.53. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) rebounded 5.28 percent to $3.59. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
