Biofuels Digest Index drops to 70.18 as enzymes, advanced biofuels tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was pummeled down 2.87 percent to 70.18 as advanced biofuels and enzymes tanked. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) dropped 12.24 percent to $2.08, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) fell 7.08 percent to $7.22. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) fell 3.24 percent to $9.56. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 1 for the day.
