Toyota and PT Pertamina sign agreement for R&D on alternative fuels

In Indonesia, Indonesia Today reports that Toyota and PT Pertamina have signed an MOU for a two year agreement to research and develop alternative fuels for vehicles. The two companies will work on Euro 4-standard fuels, compressed natural gas and biofuels.  The article quotes Soichiro Okudaira, Managing Director of Toyota Motor Corporation, as stating, “Toyota expects to assist Pertamina in developing initiatives to be implemented in alternative energy sources development in Indonesia.”
