DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products announces winner of Zemea Innovation Award

In Delaware, DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company announced the winner of the inaugural Zemea Innovation Award. Knowlton Development Corp. was selected as the winner for its patented Natural Zea deodorant stick platform. Zemea propanediol is a natural, 100 percent biobased ingredient made from corn sugar through fermentation and developed for use in the cosmetics and personal care market.

The Zemea Innovation Award program is designed to recognize companies who have commercialized innovative cosmetics and personal care ingredients or finished products that contain Zemea.
