Biofuels Digest Index flat at 69.82 as ethanol rise offset by advanced biofuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was flat at 69.82 as advanced biofuels dropped but ethanol gained. For the day, Syntroleum (SYNM) plunged 6.32 percent to $0.43, while Ceres (CERE) shed 6.48 percent to $3.75. Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) soared 8.45 percent to $10.27. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 3 for the day.
