BlueFire halts work on Fulton plant

In Mississippi, BlueFire Renewables has halted work on their Fulton plant. Construction at the site began in 2009, and was designed to produce 19 mgy. The $300m project had made progress on permitting and site preparation. The company is currently focusing on the construction of their South Korea cellulosic sugar facility with GS Caltex.
