Brazilian government looking at ethanol tax relief

In Brazil, Bloomberg reports that the government is include lower payments on taxes paid on ethanol and the possibility of converting the amount paid into credit. Currently producers pay about 6 cents in taxes per liter of ethanol. The policy hasn’t yet been made public and is said to be in the hands of President Dilma Rousseff awaiting her signature.
