Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 70.42 as large caps gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.72 percent to 70.42 as large caps were up.  For the day, Syntroleum (SYNM) dropped 4.65 percent to $0.41, while Ceres (CERE) recovered 6.40 percent to $3.99. Among other equities, Valero (VLO) surged 4.03 percent to $48.51. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
