ATS now using biobased de-icer at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport
In Missouri, Airport Terminal Services is now using Killfrost DFSustain to de-ice airplanes. ATS is responsible for de-icing about 30% of all commercial traffic at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and started using DFSustain in February, and according to an article in IRPORTSINTERNATIONAL.COM, this makes Lambert the first U.S. airport to use the bio-propanediol de-icer.
