US ethanol production dips slightly for week

In Washington, the Energy Information Administration reported that ethanol production averaged 805,000 barrels per day (b/d) — or 33.81 million gallons daily. That is down 7,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 801,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 12.28 billion gallons. Stocks of ethanol stood at 19.4 million barrels. That is a 0.1% decrease from last week. Additionally, ethanol producers were providing 4.19 million pounds of corn oil daily.
