Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 71.20 despite ethanol fallback

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.11 percent to 71.20 despite an ethanol retreat. For the day, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) collapsed 32.81 percent to $21.50, while Codexis (CDXS) rocketed up another 5.13 percent to $2.46. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) settled back 5.71 percent to $1.98. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
