Air Liquide completes second stage of biofuels pilot unit

In Germany, Air Liquide has completed the second stage of a biofuels pilot unit at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe, which produces second generation biofuel from straw, wood, and plant matter. The project is a joint effort with the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT). The process, called bioliq, will enable the transformation of bioliqsynCrude generated from straw into synthesis gas.
