Germany’s Korsair licenses Russian AIST waste-to-energy technology

In Germany, Korsair Holdings has signed a sales and marketing license agreement for a Russian waste to energy technology known as AIST. The agreement guarantees to Korsair exclusivity for the territory of the Balkan States. AIST describes a method of multi-stage solid fuel decomposition and oxidation of the device for its implementation and can be used for a wide range of applications in particular to transform waste into biofuel, heat and electricity according to demand. The technology is able to process any carbon-containing waste like household and industrial waste, including rubber products, plastic and plastic, coal and oil sludge to produce the output of various types of synthetic fuels, heat, electricity, technical, and distilled water.
