March 11, 2013 |

In the UK, the government has made available open source data regarding the country’s use of biofuels through April 14, 2013 (despite the fact that it’s still a month away), the fifth year of the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation. Between April 15 and Oct. 14, 2012, ethanol comprised 61% of supply, biodiesel (FAME) 34% and biomethanol and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) 5%. There were also small volumes of biogas, and pure vegetable oil.
